Refund policy

1. General Policy
All sales are final once the order is confirmed. However, we understand that issues may arise, and we will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis under the conditions stated below.

2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds or store credit may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Defective or Damaged Items: If you receive an item that is defective, damaged during shipping, or significantly different from what was described, you are eligible for a refund or replacement.

  • Wrong Item Delivered: If you receive an incorrect item, we will replace it at no additional cost or issue a refund.

  • Non-Delivery: If your order does not arrive within [14 business days for West Malaysia / 21 business days for East Malaysia] after dispatch and tracking information confirms non-delivery, you may be eligible for a refund.

ONLY Seasonal Gift is eligible for refund.

3. Non-Refundable Items
We do not offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind or mistaken order

  • Personalized, customized, or made-to-order items

  • Gift sets that have been opened or used

  • Items returned without prior approval

  • Items returned more than 3 days after delivery

Fullmoon & Betrothal Gifts are strictly non-refundable items

4. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at bakinstyleashley@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving your item.

  2. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photo/video evidence if applicable.

  3. Once approved, we will notify you and process the refund or arrange for a replacement.

  4. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method and may take 7–14 business days to reflect in your account.

5. Return Shipping
For items eligible for return, we will provide instructions for shipping.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

6. Store Credit Option
In certain cases, we may offer store credit instead of a cash refund. This store credit will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue and can be used on any item in our store.

7. Legal Rights
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia). It does not affect any statutory rights you may have under Malaysian law.
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
